Enter the Fiery Forbidden Lands Missions

Clear the Stage Save the Hidden Waddle Dees Defeat 2 lookout Awoofies Find the Secret Passage Use Water to destroy 7 falling lava balls

Lookout Awoofie 1

At the beginning of the stage, players will see a large version of the dog-looking enemy standing on a lookout tower. Kirby can’t float up to it from the ground, but if players jump on the wooden platform to the right, they should be able to reach Awoofie and take it down. (It’s also possible to attack it with the Ranger copy ability).

Capsule 1

When players walk a few steps north of the lookout Awoofie, they’ll start to see huge fireballs crashing down to the ground. Players don’t have to worry about the first one on the left, but once they see the second one coming towards the section on the right, they need to run fast towards the upper right corner to hit the switch before it gets covered with lava.

Lookout Awoofie 2

The second lookout Awoofie will be a few steps north of the first capsule location. Players will easily spot it on the left near some carrots and coins. Again, shoot it with the Ranger copy ability, or climb on the platform next to it to reach the dog.

Waddle Dee 1

In the following section, players will have to quickly collect five green shards while avoiding fireballs. These are straightforward to collect, as they will be out in plain sight and inside some blue boxes. Keep moving forward to find them all, and a chest will appear with a Waddle Dee inside it.

Waddle Dee 2

When players reach a section where a mole enemy is, and the platforms are sliding in and out of the wall, make sure to inhale the mole to get the Drill Copy Ability. Go to the right to find a caged area that can be accessed by drilling underneath the small gap.

Secret Passage / Capsule 2

After leaving the caged area with the Waddle Dee, go up some steps and then continue to the left where a mole enemy awaits. Defeat it, and look on the side to find a hidden passageway. Use the drill power again to go underneath a gate, and the mission will be completed. Players will also find loads of coins and the second gotcha capsule.

Capsule 3

When Kirby and the Forgotten Land players pass an area with three raging bulls charging out from underneath a building, look behind them to find a coin that leads to a hidden area where the capsule awaits.

Waddle Dee 3 / Capsule 4

Shortly after dealing with the three charging bulls, players will need to platform across a section that has fireballs crashing into the walls, causing them to lower for Kirby. Wait for the last wall to fully come down, and there will be a door behind it.

Inside this challenge room, players will need to quickly collect five orange shards before the lava eats them up. The first is in plain sight on the first platform; the second and third are hidden underground on the right; the fourth is on the upper platform, and the last one is inside the caged area. The Waddle Dee will appear once they’re all collected.

And instead of going north to the water spout, look to the right to see a path of coins that leads to another capsule.

Use Water to Destroy 7 Falling Lava Balls

This is the hardest mission that players have to go through in this stage, but if they’re fast, they should be able to nail it down on the first try. Otherwise, players might need to restart the level from the beginning to complete it.

Once players inhale the water to become Water-Balloon Mouth Kirby, just run straight down the path, passing the dog enemies. As soon as players see some fireballs coming down towards the earth, hit them with water to destroy them.

The first section has three large fireballs to destroy, and then once players go towards the next area, a short cutscene will show the rest of them coming down. Make sure to never stop moving, don’t get hit, and attack the balls that are closer to the ground first.

Waddle Dee 4

The last Waddle Dee will be inside a cage near where the last group of fireballs landed. Make sure to have Kirby’s Drill copy ability to go underneath it.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land is now available for the Nintendo Switch.
