The main antagonist of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, named Fecto Forgo, is an alien being that’s brainwashed the Forgotten Land’s inhabitants. At the top of the Forgotten Land’s food chain is the Beast Pack, a team of animal warriors that pose a significant challenge to Kirby and his trusty pal Bandana Waddle Dee. At the top of the Beast Pack is the Executive Council, who act as Kirby and the Forgotten Land’s primary bosses.

The Beast Pack’s Executive Council

At the head of the Beast Pack’s Executive Council is Leongar. Given the title “The King of Beasts,” Leongar is the head of the Pack and is one of last bosses players will face in Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

Leongar, like the rest of the Beast Pack, has been brainwashed by the entity Fecto Forgo, who is the malevolent half of the being formerly known as Fecto Efilis. Fecto Efilis used its inherent dimension-shifting powers to travel to the Forgotten Land years ago, but was captured by a team of researchers who conducted studies on the alien being in order to harness their warp powers.

A few decades into their research, the scientists accidentally caused a malfunction with the warping technology, resulting in Fecto Efilis being split into two separate beings: Fecto Forgo, the evil half of the being, and Elfilin, the more compassionate half.

Years later, when the researchers had abandoned the land and Beasts had taken over, Leongar stumbled upon the research facility. Seeing an opportunity to finally escape captivity, Fecto Forgo used its psychic powers to possess Leongar and set out trying to find Elfilin so that the being could be returned to its true form.

When the player encounters the lion-like boss in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Leongar is fully possessed and is eventually consumed by Fecto Forgo to reach its Chimera form. Upon defeating Fecto Forgo, Leongar’s soul is shattered into pieces that are scattered across the land. If the player finds all of Leongar’s soul fragments, then the Beast Pack comes to revive their king and he is finally freed of Fecto Forgo’s control.

The boss of Kirby and the Forgotten Land’s third world, Clawroline is a leopard-like being that serves as Leongar’s right-hand woman. Given the title of “Lethal Leopard,” Clawroline has extending purple claws that are capable of making violent shockwaves. Clawroline is also adept at climbing and will often dash around her boss arena both horizontally and vertically.

Gorimondo is another member of the Beast Pack’s Executive Council and acts as the boss of the game’s Natural Plains area. Given the title of “Strong-Armed Beast,” Gorimondo uses his large ape-like stature to throw the player across the boss arena. Towering over Kirby, Gorimondo is quite an intimidating boss.

Titled the “Armor-Plated Prancer,” Sillydillo is a giant armadillo that uses its shell to spin excessively around its boss arena. Tasked by Leongar to find Elfilin, Sillydillo doesn’t quite understand his assignment and brings his leader heaps of trash instead.

The final member of the Beast Pack is a mainstay of the Kirby series, and arrives in the Forgotten Land just before the player does. Being possessed by Fecto Forgo upon his arrival, King Dedede faces off against Kirby in an attempt to steal Elfilin and bring it back to Leongar. Given a boar mask that inhibits his own thoughts, King Dedede is only returned to his old self when he is defeated and the mask is broken.
