However, as fans progress, things will get harder and harder, and one level shows just how complex the game’s goals get as the experience goes on. Here’s how to complete all the missions and find every Hidden Waddle Dee in Searching the Oasis.

Toy Capsule #1

One of the first collectibles of this stage is a Toy Capsule. As players come across a section with a large snake enemy sitting between two pools, all players need to do is defeat it. The Capsule is simply sitting behind it.

Secret Pool Location / Hidden Waddle Dee #1

A little further ahead in this area will be yet another big snake enemy blocking a path in the same fashion as with the Toy Capsule. Getting rid of it will reveal the path to the pool. In the middle of the pool is the Hidden Waddle Dee, but on the left-most lounge chair is an enemy Kirby can inhale for the Sleep Copy Ability.

In order to clear the mission, “take a nap by the secret pool,” fans should inhale it and rest up for some HP recovery.

Toy Capsule #2

As fans head into the next area in this Kirby and the Forgotten Land level, they’ll come across a circular platform over to the left beyond a ring of poisonous muck. While minding the enemies around the area, a quick use of Kirby’s floating ability will allow fans to pick it up.

Buzz-Saw Cutter Blueprint

After collecting the second Toy Capsule, just ahead is a break in a small fence at the top of the screen. The hole there may look like a way to fall into one of Kirby and the Forgotten Land’s bottomless pits, but keen-eyed fans may be able to spot the treasure chest between the bars on the right. This treasure chest contains the Buzz-Saw Cutter Blueprint.

Hidden Waddle Dee #2

Shortly after getting the Blueprint, fans will meet the first Poison Croakom enemy of the level, but they should avoid it carefully to find a ladder on the bottom right. This will take fans to some moving platforms high above the huge frog enemy, with the second of these platforms carrying the second Hidden Waddle Dee.

Hidden Waddle Dee #3

Following the moving platforms will lead players to an object they can inhale to become Dome Mouth Kirby. Using the ability will expose a secret path that leads to a pipe that can be used to become Pipe Mouth Kirby. There will be a trail players can use the Mouthful Mode form on that requires them to time jumps to make it to the other side. If players time the last jump correctly, they’ll destroy a wall at the end and be rewarded with a Hidden Waddle Dee.

Defeating Poison Croakom #1

The next area has one of these big frog enemies in the center of the area. Luckily, the way to defeat it is nearby. Fans will find a water spout to the left of the Poison Croakom and should become Water-Balloon Kirby to spray water at the large enemy to eventually defeat it.

Hidden Waddle Dee #4

After defeating the Poison Croakom, players should hold onto the Mouthful Mode form they’re in to clear the gunk in front of the drill hole fence, then use the Drill Copy Ability to go into the secret room.

Once inside, fans will need to use the ability to dig up five Star Shards to free the fourth Hidden Waddle Dee. However, they’ll need to be quick, as the platforms don’t cycle around. If players miss one, they’ll need to exit the room to start over.

The challenge found in this room has a catch to it as well. One of the missions of the level requires “diligent digging in the secret room.” This means fans need to uncover every dig spot in the room in one attempt. For those who want to skip this mission, all the Star Shard dig locations can be found below.

Toy Capsule #3

Players aren’t done with Water-Balloon Mouth Kirby just yet, as they’ll need to use the Drill ability to raise the faucet from earlier to be used again on the muck surrounding the next path they need to take. If they clean up the poisonous muck found on the right side, they’ll uncover a Toy Capsule.

Defeating Poison Croakom #2 / Hidden Waddle Dee #5

After at least attempting to clean up the big frog’s mess, players will be able to defeat the Croakom with ease with the water they have remaining from getting the third Toy Capsule. Once the monster is defeated, the player will be rewarded with coins, food, and even the fifth Hidden Waddle Dee in a secret hiding hole obscured by the Croakom.
