The slick-shooting guard had not scored more than 30 points in a game entering Monday’s contest.

Thompson followed it up with 20 more points in the third quarter, finishing with 60 on the day. His 60 points through three quarters were the second-most through three quarters in the NBA during the last 20 seasons.
With the Cavaliers beating up on Eastern Conference foes and the Warriors really starting to gel, it appears the NBA Finals could already be written in stone this season.
