That’s pure filth on so many levels. Thompson had been guarded by Steve Blake for much of the fourth quarter and the veteran guard had done a reasonable job up until that point.
Thompson must have decided he had enough and turned on the jets, moving past the Blazers guard and dominating Robin Lopez with the flush.
It’s likely he could have received a technical foul for celebrating but hey, with $70 million in the bank he can party all he wants.
Thompson went on to hit what would be the game-winning shot as the Warriors won, 95-90.
