Yes, you read that correctly. The longtime NBA small forward believes he is ready to run the show at Madison Square Garden. Once he heard about Fizdale’s firing, World Peace fired off a few tweets that essentially served as his cover letter to Knicks owner James Dolan.

Street mentality. Straight shooter. Supportive. Not a rock eater — unless water is available.

Come on, Knicks fans. How are you not on board here?

Plus, World Peace played in 29 games for the Knicks during the 2013-14 season. He’s basically a New York legend.
