The 24-year-old, real name Bill Kahan Kapri, took to social media to share photographs of himself fully decked out in Trump’s “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) merchandise.
The apparel also featured a navy blue MAGA hat which appeared to be signed by Trump.
Also taking the opportunity to promote his recent single “Feelin Peachy”, Kapri wrote: “#HappyBirthdayTrump #HappyBirthdayKodak #GeminiGang #FeelinPeachy Out Now.”
June-born Kapri seemingly referenced his shared astrological sign with the businessman by using the “Gemini Gang” hashtag. He followed the slew of hashtags with red and blue heart emojis.
Trump could not respond to the tweet following his ban from the social media platform.
The “Dirty K” hitmaker’s tweet comes months after he walked out of prison following his commuted sentence.
On Trump’s final day as president of the U.S, on January 20, he pardoned a reel of people, including Kapri.
Kapri was serving a 46-month sentence in prison after pleading guilty to possession of multiple illegal firearms in 2019.
At the time, Kapri pledged $1 million to charity on Twitter if the then-president were to pardon him.
“If The President Them Free Me, I’m Gonna Spend 1 million on Charity within The First Year I’m Out. That’s on Everything,” the tweet read. He deleted the tweet shortly after.
The White House statement cited his involvement with “numerous philanthropic efforts,” following news of his pardon.
It then referenced the star’s $50,000 donation to David Portnoy’s Barstool Fund, which aims to help small business struggling to stay afloat during the coronavirus pandemic.
The statement also acknowledged the support Kapri garnered from fellow rap stars Gucci Mane, Lil Pump, Lil Yachty.
The birthday post is not the first time he has thrown his support behind Trump online.
Following his release, he took to social media to publicly thank the politician.
“I Want To Thank The President @RealDonaldTrump For His Commitment To Justice Reform And Shortening My Sentence,” he wrote on January 20. “I Also Want To Thank Everyone For Their Support And Love. It Means More Than You Will Ever Know. I Want To Continue Giving Back, Learning And Growing.”
Also among those pardoned was “Something Different” rapper Lil Wayne, real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.
Trump pardoned a total of 73 people and commuted the sentences of a further 70 people before his time at the White House came to an end earlier this year.
The extensive list included some of Trump’s political allies, notably, his former campaign manager Steve Bannon.
