Those who have played Metal Gear Solid 5 will recognize the scene as an Easter Egg, where the support character Quiet leaps from a helicopter and proceeds to dance in the rain. She’s joined by the game’s protagonist as they splash each other with puddle water.

The new mod with Kojima and Reedus takes that moment to new heights, with Reedus showing off some impressively agility as he unabashedly rolls and dances in the rain.

This isn’t the first time gamers have introduced mods into Metal Gear Solid 5 in order to enhance this scene with different characters. Previously, someone amusingly inserted Revolver Ocelot into Quiet’s place, producing a hilarious, though still somewhat moving, video for gamers to enjoy.

This also isn’t the first time Kojima has found himself incorporated into the last game he developed at Konami. After a shakeup two years ago that saw Kojima exit the development company, gamers were quick to create a mod for Metal Gear Solid 5 on PC that allowed gamers to play through the game as Kojima.

Still, neither of those mods quite stack up to this new creation with Reedus dancing as Kojima watches on, ending with both men holding each other in a grasp that seems appropriate for their friendship.

As for what gamers can expect from Death Stranding when it releases, Kojima recently provided some additional insight into Reedus’s character, telling gamers that contrary to the announcement video, Reedus will actually be clothed in Death Stranding. In fact, Reedus’s character will have a range of clothes, hair styles, and gadgets to choose from as gamers make their way through the game.

There’s still very little known about Death Stranding, but hopefully Kojima will take advantage of this year’s E3 event to provide additional details, and possibly some new footage from the highly-anticipated title.

Death Stranding is currently in development for PlayStation 4.
